Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has hinted of talks with the representatives of Werder Bremen midfield ace Diego.

It broke yesterday that Diego's Dad - and agent - was in Turin on Monday for talks with Juve over a big-money January move.

Asked about the reports, Ranieri refused to deny a meeting and instead smiled: "Maybe he was here to talk to Torino?"

Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli also joked: "The relatives of Diego are in Turin? He will have come to buy sausage at the Salone del Gusto!"
