Juventus chief Alessio Secco admits they're surprised by how quickly Diego has settled.

"We followed Diego for some time and we were sure of his great technical merit, but I was surprised by his rapid integration and the ease with which he fell in the role of a leader," said Secco.

"We could have signed him the previous year but we had spending limits."
