Juventus chief Alessio Secco has hit out at match officials after their 3-2 defeat to Genoa on Saturday.
"It isn't our style to complain, but we cannot stay silent this time," snapped Secco.
"Of course Genoa deserve praise for their performance, but I must point out too many negative incidents went against us during this match and we were heavily penalised.
"Starting from the perfectly valid [Vincenzo] Iaquinta goal that was disallowed when it was still 0-0, without forgetting Genoa's goal came after the referee had already blown the whistle and so our players had stopped.
"It is also a shame to see [Mauro] Camoranesi sent off. There was no viciousness in the tackle, nor the desire to hurt the opponent."
Secco added: "Now we just need to keep calm and united, as only through hard work can we get out of this situation.
"We will continue to battle to finish second, then there is the Coppa Italia, which now becomes our primary objective."
