Juventus chief Secco offering Trezeguet to Madrid clubs

Juventus sports chief Alessio Secco is trying to find a new club for David Trezeguet. Gazzetta dello Sport says Secco attempted to use Trezeguet as a bargaining chip yesterday during transfer talks with Real Madrid officials. However, offers to include the Frenchman in swap deals for Mahamadou Diarra and Ruud van Nistelrooy fell flat.

Instead, Secco is now considering offering Trezeguet to Atletico Madrid in part-exchange for striker Diego Forlan.

Along with Diarra, Secco also asked Real about their Argentina midfielder Fernando Gago.

Diarra remains the priority for Juve, with the Mali international having already agreed personal terms with the Turin giants. Secco has scheduled more talks with Real next week.

Meanwhile, Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino admits he's desperate to sign for Juve.

"I've already explained to my fans that I've always been a Juve supporter and to join them will be a dream come true," said the Italy international.
