Juventus sports chief Alessio Secco is ready to open talks with Valencia for midfielder David Silva.

After new Valencia managing director Javier Gomez refused to rule out player sales to clear the club's debts, Corriere dello Sport says Secco is ready to pounce for Silva.

Juve coach Claudio Ranieri has declared in the past week he would like a reunion with his former Los Che protege and Secco hopes a bid of £15 million will be enough to land the Spain international.
