Juventus chief scout Renzo Castagnini has confirmed he's off to Argentina to check on Lanus winger Hernan Valeri.

"I have seen him play six or seven times, he has talent and physical strength but it is difficult to place him tactically," said Castagnini.

"He also lost his place in the team, but that does not surprise me. It is not easy to play for US$80-100,000 when your peers are earning millions in Europe."
