Juventus chief Jean-Claude Blanc is delighted with the capture of former Palermo striker Amauri.

"He was our primary objective," said Blanc. "We have added another extraordinary element to the best attack in the League. We will have a super front line for the next few years.

"It is quite a complex operation," he explained. "We are all looking to work together in a professional manner.

"In the end, we want to be balanced in every department. Coach Claudio Ranieri is very happy and we are focused on next season.

"We have added value with the purchase of a man like Amauri. Thanks to him, we will write a new page in Juventus' history.

"We need to complete the team. We have rounded off the attack and our next objective lies in polishing up the middle of the park."
