Juventus chief Roberto Bettega has moved to assure fans that goalkeeper Gigi Buffon will not be sold this summer.

Buffon was linked with Bayern Munich and Manchester City in yesterday's press.

But Bettega insists: "The squad will not let itself get distracted by this sort of thing.

"As for what was written in the papers about an alleged Buffon sale, I want to tell the fans that Gigi is untouchable. He will remain at Juventus."
