Juventus are chasing Manchester United pair Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie. United announced yesterday they would not be taking the option to sign Falcao permanently from AS Monaco.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Italian title-winning Juventus were interested in signing Falcao last summer and are keen to add to their attacking depth as they look to enhance their reputation in Europe.

The Bianconeri will launch bids for United striker Robin van Persie or Paris Saint-Germain striker Edison Cavani if a move for Falcao stutters.

Dutch striker Van Persie only has one year left on his current Old Trafford contract and manager Van Gaal could be tempted to cash in on his fellow countryman while he can.
