German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has renewed his contract with Bayern Munich, killing off any transfer moves by Juventus.
Schweinsteiger's new deal will keep him at Bayern until 2012.
Juventus are now likely to step up their moves for Werder Bremen star Diego.
