Juventus caretaker Carrera proud of early results

Juventus coach Massimo Carrera admits their season has gone better than expected as he stands in for the suspended Antonio Conte.

The 'loss' of Conte doesn't seem to have affected the champions too much given that they are the only team in Serie A with a 100 per cent record.

"We are only four games into the campaign and the other teams will certainly pick themselves up," said Carrera.

"There is a long way to go and we must continue to work. We have some big margins for improvement and we'll look to make as few mistakes as possible.

"There is time to grow. We are just focusing on ourselves. We certainly have more belief in our strength this term, but we also know what we need to keep working on."
