Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero is looking forward to the appointment of Antonio Conte.

Gigi Del Neri is set to be replaced by Siena boss Conte, a former teammate of Del Piero in Turin.

"I know Antonio well, he was an exceptional player and he's doing a great job as a Coach," said the attacker.

"I hope he will be able to give a lot to Juventus and stay for the long haul if his appointment is made official."
