Juventus captain Del Piero wants MLS move - but Montreal Impact?

Montreal Impact face a battle convincing Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero about a move to Canada. Del Piero, who is leaving Juve in June, favours having another two years of playing in MLS, but his options are drying up.

David Beckham's decision to stay with LA Galaxy has shut the door there, while Thierry Henry's presence at New York Red Bulls also makes it difficult for Del Piero to move to the Big Apple.

Montreal have made an offer, but Del Piero is lukewarm on joining an expansion club. He feels he has two years left and wants to win a title.
