Juventus captain Del Piero eager to hear from Tottenham - and West Ham

Tottenham and West Ham United are being linked with Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero.

Del Piero will leave Juve at the end of this season after it was announced his contract would not be renewed by president Andrea Agnelli.

Tuttosport says talk of a move to AC Milan has been dismissed by all parties and instead Del Piero favours a move to England - particularly London.

Tottenham are being mentioned as a destination for the Italian legend, though West Ham are also being linked - so long as they return to the Premier League next season.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has never been shy handing late career swansongs to football greats, having worked with the likes of Youri Djorkaeff, Fernando Hierro and Michel Salgado in the past.
