AS Roma have failed in a bid for Sassuolo striker Simone Zaza.
Tuttosport says Roma chief Walter Sabatini made an attempt for Zaza two weeks ago, but was blocked from getting beyond the enquiry stage.
Juve have agreed terms with Sassuolo over their 50 per cent of the striker's registration and will welcome Zaza back to Turin in the summer.
Along with Roma, Napoli also made an attempt this month, but Juve's agreement is rock solid.
For his part, Zaza has agreed personal terms with Juve and is looking forward to returning to the Bianconeri.
