Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri insists he does not regret not signing Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian striker was a target for the Bianconeri during the summer transfer window but left Monaco to join Manchester United on a season-long loan.
In the wake of the transfer, Allegri has spoken out about his club's interest in Falcao but does not rue missing out on the goalscoring machine.
"Am I disappointed at not getting Falcao? No," the Italian told reporters. "We worked well, with targeted operations, without buying just for the sake of buying.
"If we had found the player truly capable of helping the team make a step up in quality, then okay, otherwise there's no point when we already have such a strong squad."
