Massimiliano Allegri has kept his cards close to his chest regarding speculation that Gonzalo Higuain is set to sign for the club.
Rumours emerging in Italy suggest that the Argentine striker is on the verge of finalising a transfer from Napoli after Italian champions Juventus agreed to pay his £78million (€94m) release clause.
It is understood that Higuain, who scored a Serie A record 36 goals last season, has undergone medicals in Madrid and agreed a €7.5m-a-season deal until 2020 but Bianconeri boss Allegri was non-committal when quizzed on the current situation.
"I don't talk about transfer market news," he said after his side played against the Melbourne Victory at the MCG.
"The club is going to talk about that.
"The only thing I can talk about tonight is the game."
