Juventus are set to close an agreement for Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo. The deal had stalled last week after Juve chief Alessio Secco rejected Fiorentina's demands of £20 million cash plus Marco Marchionni for the Brazilian.
However, Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli contacted Fiorentina counterpart Andrea della Valle over the weekend and agreed to meet the Viola's asking price.
Melo is set to move to Turin, but not with the well-wishes of Fiorentina sports director Pantaleo Corvino, who is upset the midfielder is skipping out on the club after just a year.
