Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba branded the Bianconeri's Ballon d'Or snub as "strange".

Juve coach Max Allegri and goalkeeper Gigi Buffon both failed to be nominated.

"It's strange. They both deserved a nominated for their respective awards," said Pogba.

"Gigi is number one, and he proves it every day."
