Juventus midfielder Diego insists he will live up to his £22 million price-tag.
"I think I'm well worth it, for all that is said about me in Europe and for everything I believe I can give to this team," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"My objective is to get in sync with Italian football as quickly as possible."
The Brazilian added: "The Selecao has a large variety of players to choose from and in order to get back in there, I am going to have to do well with Juve.
"Nothing would make me happier than playing for the Brazil side again."
