Lukas Jutkiewicz is determined to make the most of his move to Everton.
"I have to admit training could not come quickly enough. The sooner the balls are out and training really begins the better."
Touted as one of the hottest prospects outside of the Premiership, the former Southampton trainee confesses the past six months has been a bit of a whirlwind.
"The number one priority is to prove myself as a first-team player for Everton," he said. "I have not signed for Everton just to settle for playing in the reserves now and again.
"I want more than that and I will be working as hard as possible in pre-season to get to where I want to be.
"It has all been a dream but now that feeling has to stop as it isn't and I have to get real."
