Ivan Juric says Genoa president Enrico Preziosi should stick with coach Alberto Malesani.

Juric spent four years on the pitch at Marassi before retiring, briefly taking charge of the Grifone's youth team and then leaving to join Gian Piero Gasperini's backroom staff for his brief spell at Inter Milan.

"It seems premature to talk about Malesani being at risk. They had a good start to the season and then at Chievo were unlucky to lose. Yesterday I saw the match with Parma live and they did not deserve to suffer such a sharp defeat.

"There is a wrong attitude across the whole team, not just in midfield. It can happen, especially at competitive level, but should be why Genoa are losing. They have the means to make a great season.

"When you change so much as Genoa have, it is normal to go through a difficult period of adjustment. Among the new players there are many interesting names, although the strongest remains [Rodrigo] Palacio."
