Junior Stanislaus hopes he impressed West Ham boss Zola

Junior Stanislaus was delighted with his winner for West Ham reserves against Arsenal this week.

The young winger impressed in front of manager Gianfranco Zola and told The Echo: "It's my first of the season so I was well-pleased with that. Now I just want to keep banging them in.

"It was nice to put on a show in front of the manager and (assistant Steve) Clarkey as well.

"I've had a little niggly knee injury as well, so it was good to be able to show them what I can do. Hopefully now I can kick on a bit.

"Hopefully I can get a first-team opportunity soon. Maybe before I wasn't consistent but now I've played a few good games in a row so I want to keep that going."
