Juninho is seeking talks with Middlesbrough over a one-off comeback game for preseason.

He told The Sun: "I know I am coming close to retiring and my dream is to come back to Boro and play one last game.

"Of course I won't be able to play in the Premier League, although I'd love to. So instead I will try and play in a game during the next pre-season.

"The club remain so close to my heart and to put on their shirt for the last time would be so special for me. It would be a great way to retire."
