Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was full of adoration for Manuel Pellegrini following the club's title triumph on Sunday.
City defeated West Ham United 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium to clinch a second Premier League title in three seasons, giving Pellegrini a second piece of silverware in his debut campaign in England.
In the wake of the final day win, Hart spoke highly of the way Pellegrini had united the squad and the fact he has been able to get everybody playing for each other at Eastlands.
The England number one touched on the point that he had been dropped earlier in the season for Costel Pantilimon before fighting his way back into calculations.
"He's a winner, he wants us to win," Hart told Sky Sports. "He is a measured man and he believes in what he does.
"He is prepared to do what he needs to do to win the league and that showed.
"It's been a great year for me, a really exciting year. It emphasised what a squad you need to win the Premier League.
"I was having a tough time, Costel came in and did fantastic, and then proceeded to back me up. It's a big reason why we've won the league."
Hart added: "We came strong at the end, we won the games we needed to.
"We are all winners, we have got strong personalities, we find a way for it to work."
