Atletico Madrid fullback Juanfran has signed a new deal.

Juanfran will remain a 'Rojiblanco' up until at least 2018, when the Spanish international will be 33 years old.

The defender has played a key role in the conquest of Atlético's past five trophies - the Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, the Copa del Rey, La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.

He is also a regular member of the Spain squad, and helped his nation to victory at Euro 2012.
