Juande Ramos won't change style at Spurs

Juande Ramos refuses to change his style of management at Tottenham.

The Daily Mail says Daniel Levy reassured Ramos that his job was safe at a meeting on Monday before flying to America on business, but the chairman wants to see the manager approach his job differently.

Spurs are now four points adrift at the foot of the table and are without a win in the league this season, but Ramos has said he will resist all attempts to get him to change his ways.

A source close to the manager said: "All that talk is rubbish. These were the same methods that helped Spurs win the Carling Cup last season and no one was complaining then.

"Maybe the stories have come from a player who is not in the team or that player's agent, but Juande is sticking with it because it works.

"The fact is Juande is staying. There was a meeting with everybody and he has been given time. He has been told the board trust in him.

"Of course he is worried about the results, but he is not feeling the pressure. He certainly won't resign and walk away. He feels that the luck has gone against them and that will soon change."
