Juande Ramos can handle Real Madrid extremes

Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos insists he's unconcerned over the backlash from their Champions League elimination. "There's no change when I win, I am not holidays nor do I go crazy, or when I lose because I know it's a game. This is a sport. You can see I'm not depressed," shrugged Ramos.

"After twenty years as a professional in football I understand this kind of situation perfectly. This is what this profession produces. Personally I'm very well.

"All opinions are respected. You can think about freedom of expression. These same players have won ten consecutive games. They are going to continue on that line because we all want to win. Our obligation is to accept criticism and work to change their minds.

"If the play is brilliant it is said that we are No1. If it is very bad, we're very bad. We had ten consecutive wins, but after a draw against Atletico and Liverpool all is lost and it's a disaster.

"Unfortunately football is like that. After a negative result we are black sheep and there's pessimism. It is what changes from winning or losing, but for the good and the bad the collective will stick together. No one is more guilty than the rest. We are a team and we all have proportionally the same fault."
