AS Roma defender Juan regards this season as a failure.
The Giallorossi lost 2-1 at Catania on Sunday to drop five points behind fourth-placed Udinese with one Serie A game remaining.
"We had great hopes this season following last year's campaign," said Juan.
"We had a good team but we weren't able to achieve our aims. Things haven't gone as planned this year.
"We are disappointed and our season can be considered a failure.
"Now we must think about the future.
"We still have one more game to play and we have to end the campaign with dignity."
