AS Roma defender Juan is eager to see teammate Daniele de Rossi ink a new contract. De Rossi's future remains unclear as he continues to baulk at penning new terms.
Juan said: "To lose De Rossi would be heavy for Roma and I do not just mean just for me.
"Everyone knows the importance of Daniele in the team, and how important he is for the League standings and our return to Europe."
The 32-year-old former Flamengo defender also offered his view on Francesco Totti's situation: "Totti is fine, he trains and stays in shape.
"The relationship with the Coach? I do not want to answer, as some things must remain inside the dressing room."
