Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic feels victory over Swansea City is ideal preparation going into their meeting with Bayern Munich.
City's Champions League hopes are in the balance this week.
Jovetic said: "We were down 1-0 and didn't start well, but after the goal we played better. We started to press high and played in the way we know to play.
"We can talk outside the pitch about how we need to get better.
"But in the end you need to show you are the best team - like we are - and in this game we played much better.
"Now we have a big chance against Bayern Munich.
"If we win that game and hopefully the other results are good for us - we have faith we can turn it back around.
"Bayern are a good team, but we can play against them. They have a lot of injuries," he added.
"If we want to get to the next round we have to win games and I hope on Tuesday that will be the day."
