Jovetic finally feeling a part of Man City team

Manchester City's summer signing Stevan Jovetic is looking to overcome his injury frustrations and press for a place in the starting line-up. The Montenegro international bagged a brace in a 5-0 mauling of Wigan Athletic in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday and is now looking to make up for lost time.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "It was difficult for me because I was the last to come here and I was injured, so when they played the first games I was doing preparation.

"Now I am much better and I hope that by playing more I will show much more.

"It was difficult for me because I was the last to come here and I was injured, so when they played the first games I was doing preparation."

"I feel settled here now. I was accepted from my first day, especially by Matija Nastasic, Aleks Kolarov and Edin Dzeko, but also by the rest of the squad."
