Norwich City teen Josh Murphy hopes for a fresh first team chance.
The England Under-19 ace knows Adams very well as he was a key part of the City Under-18s team which won the FA Youth Cup under Neil Adams' stewardship last term.
"I've been happy with my involvement recently," Murphy told City's official website after scoring the only goal as the City Under-21s won 1-0 at Wolves on Tuesday night, his 11th goal in 13 Under-21 games this season.
"I've been with Neil ever since I was an under-11, so he knows exactly what I'm about and I know what he's about.
"Hopefully I can now kick on and get in the first team, and if I'm called upon I can try and get a goal like I did against Wolves.
"It's in our own hands. We're capable - we're good enough, we shouldn't be where we are but through circumstances that's where we are.
"We've got three big games, but there's no reason why we can't pick up points. I'm confident, and so are all the lads and staff."
