Bowler, who turned 19 in March, believes his all-round game has developed hugely while at Everton. It means he is more convinced than ever he made the right choice in signing for the Blues.
“As soon as I heard Everton were interested, I had to move," he told evertonfc.com. “I loved my time at QPR but to have the chance to play for a huge club like this and hopefully, one day, play for the first team at Goodison was one I couldn't turn down.
“I've been here a year now and I know it's definitely been the right decision. Playing with the top quality players in the Under-23s has enhanced my game, both attacking-wise and defensively.
“The facilities are incredible, too, and everyone around you wants you to succeed and is trying to help. It's a proper close-knit group, from the players to the staff, to the fans. You can tell everyone loves Everton and everyone is together. It's a great place to be."
