Josh Bowler is excited about his move to Everton.

The former QPR midfielder signed for Everton yesterday. Everton are believed to have paid around £1.5million up front with up to £2.5million in add ons in a deal that could eventually be worth £4million.

Bowler is expected to start with the Blues Premier League 2-winning Under-23s squad and he said: “I'm really excited to join Everton – it's a fantastic opportunity for me.

“This is a club on the up at every level. I can't wait to get started, meet the other lads and begin working with David Unsworth.

“I'm a direct player, I feel like I can bring excitement in the final third and this is the perfect place for me to continue my education and development."
