Joseph leaves New England Revolution to attend personal matters

Shalrie Joseph has been granted leave of absence by MLS club New England Revolution to attend to personal matters.

The 31-year old midfielder officially left the team on April 24 and will return at a later date.

He is currently sidelined with a hip injury and has yet to take the pitch in 2010 but was a key contributor for the Revs last term, gaining selection in the MLS Best XI.
