Jose Manuel Casado is pleased with his move to Malaga.
The former Rayo Vallecano fullback signed for Malaga on a Bosman.
"My agent, Rene Ramos, was considering a number of options, Malaga amongst them, although Levante were also interested," the player said at a press conference.
"He told me about the possibility here and I was delighted with the idea.
"I have still not spoken with [coach Bernd] Schuster yet, but we already know his opinions and I hope to be available soon."
