Jorginho insists no-one is getting carried away at Hellas Verona.
There is talk of European qualification for the promoted club this season.
"Our Serie A debut against Milan was beautiful," he told Sky Sport Italia. "There was a lot of tension going into the game, but we did well.
"Mandorlini has always believed in me, and in times of trouble, like the game against Torino, has defended me against critics.
"We're not thinking about Europe, we just have to focus on reaching 40 points.
"Only after that point can we start to have fun and see where we can go. I hope 2014 is as good, or better, than 2013."
