Jordy Clasie is delighted with his move to Southampton.

The former Feyenoord captain insists he would've chose Saints even if Manchester United had come in for him.

The Holland midfielder told The Sun: "If the interest of United had become concrete, I think I would still have preferred Southampton.

"It is wiser to get in low and then move to the high end than the other way around."

The 24 year-old joined Saints last month.
