Wigan Athletic midfielder Jordi Gomez feels they're capable of reaching the FA Cup final.
The Spanish forward scored the only goal of the game to progress his side to the fifth round at the expense of non-league Macclesfield Town and revealed afterwards they were never worried about suffering an upset.
Gomez said: "He’s been doing this in all the cup games. The players who are picked are doing a really good job.
"We have a lot of players. Everyone who’s playing is giving their best. There is no problem. We know which are cup games and which are league games and we know how to deal with it.
"Yes (Stoke reaching the final) does prove that we could go far. In the FA Cup you never know. You can get beaten by teams smaller than you but here we did a great job defensively and won through.
"We knew it was going to be hard but we weren’t scared at all. We’ll try to go through all the rounds and we’ll see what happens. It’s always nice to get good runs in the cup.
"Of course the Premier League is our priority but we play every game to win. So if we play cup games we play to win. If we can have a good run it’s better for us."
