Jordi Alba is happy with Lionel Messi's new contract at Barcelona.

Messi penned fresh terms last week.

"Messi signing is very important," he said. "He is the best player in the world and in history.

"We will be working to win all possible titles next season and Messi is important."

The full-back was in Qatar alongside Barcelona's Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets to take a look at the work being done on the stadiums ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
