Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba has hit out at Real Madrid over their treatment of Iker Casillas.
Casillas left Real this week for Porto.
"Iker has achieved great things in order to earn everyone's respect. Maybe the fact that Real Madrid didn't win a trophy last year meant his exit was done differently. We didn't win anything the previous season, but we did last year and people were happier at Xavi's goodbye ceremony," said Alba.
Alba added that, in his opinion, Barça would have dealt with the matter differently: "I think it would've been done in a different way at Barcelona. Not everybody is the same. Iker Casillas has the respect of every player and club."
