Jordanian players attack Singapore after loss

Jordanian players attacked their Singaporean opponents after their 2-1 loss last night. The defeated Jordan players threw punches and bottles at the Lions in the players tunnel of Singapore's National Stadium.

Singapore defender Daniel Bennett confirmed the attack afterwards.

"One of our boys was celebrating. Their captain kicked out. Bottles were thrown, and then punches." Bennett said.

"It was really disgusting behaviour."

A Football Association of Singapore official added, "We have reported the matter to the police and the AFC match commissioner and we are leaving it at that."
