Jordan Veretout has no regrets over his move to Aston Villa.

The midfielder joined Villa in the summer from Nantes.

Veretout told the Daily Star: “I'm happy with my choice. I'm sure that Villa will climb the table quickly and I'm happy to be here.

“It's a big club and I love being here, especially now Remi has arrived. It was difficult under Tim because I was happy with my performances on the pitch and in training and I was happy with the way I was conducting myself.

“But I didn't have a lot of dialogue with Tim. We barely spoke and I could never get a proper reason as to why I wasn't playing.

"So it did put doubt in my mind over whether I had done the right thing because I was finding things hard."
