Southampton defender Jordan Turnbull is delighted with his progress this season.

The centre-back felt privileged to travel with the First Team for their trip to Sunderland for a recent Capital One Cup tie.

Turnbull told the Saints website: "It's always a great experience to be involved with the First Team and be asked to travel with them. Unfortunately I wasn't on the bench, although I did travel and it was a great experience."
