Joe Jordan has explained why he's quit Portsmouth for a coaching job at Tottenham.
Jordan told the Daily Mail: "It had been my intention to stay and work with Tony Adams. Then Harry told the club he would like to have me at Tottenham.
"They were straight with me and said it was up to me.
"This was my fifth year with Portsmouth and that is the longest I have been with any club as a coach or manager. That tells you what they mean to me. Tony had asked me to be his assistant and backed it up with a contract. I would have signed it."
