Kia Joorabchian has made it clear that he was only behind one of QPR's transfer dealings in their summer spend last year.

The player agent is an advisor to Mark Hughes, who took the reins at Loftus Road last offseason, and has been criticised for pushing the West London club to spend big.

But the Iranian has defended himself, saying goalkeeper Julio Cesar's move from Inter Milan was the only one he controlled.

"I'm always interested to read or hear that I was responsible for so many of the players signed by QPR last season," Joorabchian told BBC Sport.

"In fact my company was only involved with the signing of one, Julio Cesar."

QPR bought in a plethora of players last year when recently-appointed Stoke City boss Hughes was in charge including Park Ji-sung, Esteban Granero, Samba Diakite and Djibril Cisse but the club were eventually relegated with Harry Redknapp at the helm.
