Jonny Williams is delighted with his new deal at Crystal Palace.
The youngster signed a five-year contract in May 2012 but such is the high regard he is held in that the new deal ties him down until 2018.
He told the London Evening Standard: "It was something that I wanted to get sorted earlier in the season but then I got injured and we had to wait a bit. Luckily we were able to get it signed and I'm happy everything is done now.
"I haven't been told if there was anyone else looking at me - I've just read the things that everyone else reads.
"It's always nice to hear other clubs are interested in you but I wasn't looking to leave Palace. They have been great for my career so far and now hopefully we can stay in the league."
