West Bromwich Albion fullback Billy Jones has hailed the impact of Claudio Yacob this season.

The Argentine midfielder has allowed the likes of Jones to get forward more during games.

"Claudio's been such an important part of our season," he told the WBA website. "He's freed up Youssouf [Mulumbu] a little bit to get more involved and get more creative going forward.

"He just sits in there and you just know he's going to be there filling in.

"He's done superbly this year."
