Cobi Jones says he will perform his New York Cosmos duties from Los Angeles.

The former LA Galaxy star player and assistant coach recently took the job as associate director of soccer and ambassador for the Cosmos, who hope to enter MLS in the next few years, but has revealed he will continue living in LA.

Jones spent most of his playing days on the West Coast and will remain as a resident there whilst travelling back and forth between LA and NY.

"I was raised on the West Coast, but I did play in Europe and Brazil. It just so happened I had my career in the L.A. area," Jones told The Record.

"I'll be based in L.A. for the foreseeable future, but I'll be going back and forth between L.A. and New York. I'm bi-coastal at this point."
